Founded in 2021, our mission is to combine tradition, collaboration and innovation, emphasizing active learning and self-discovery alongside engaging in healthy competition.

We pride ourselves on inner-development over solely outward display.

At Ealaín Karate Dojo, each vigorous hour spent training is seen as an opportunity to build confidence, discipline and both mental and physical strength.

Ealaín Karate Dojo's Chief Instructor is Keelan Gannon, 3rd dan. Keelan is a a full time Karate Instructor and qualified PE & Biology Teacher. He has won medals at national and international level, and has taught at some of the largest dojos in Ireland.

Ealaín Karate Dojo are affiliated with both the HDKI and ONAKAI.

The HDKI, founded in 2017 by Scott Langley Sensei (7th dan), is one a the fastest growing traditional shotokan karate groups in the world, with affiliates in 23 different countries worldwide. The HDKI HQ is located in Dublin which gives the students of Ealaín Karate Dojo, the opportunity to learn from and train with some of the best instructors in the world. Professional instructors from the HDKI HQ frequently visit us at Ealaín Karate Dojo.

ONAKAI is the national governing body for all styles of karate within Ireland, and is recognised by Sport Ireland. They provide an extremely high standard of coaching, have developed countless international competitors and run the largest karate competitions in Ireland.
