
The Ealaín Karate Dojo Junior Instructor Programme gives dedicated students the opportunity to take on more responsibility within the dojo.
Students learn how to assist classes, support younger members and develop confidence, leadership and reliability.
What Students Gain

Skills that benefit students both inside and outside the dojo.
Programme Structure
3 stages. 12 weeks each. Students must complete all prior levels to apply for Silver/Gold.
🥉 Bronze (Minimum Age 13+)
Assist 1 class per week
• Lead warm-ups and support class flow
• Understand basic class structure and key techniques
• Introduction to the Ealaín teaching formula
On completion, bronze medal and certificate awarded.
🥈 Silver (Minimum Age 14+)
Assist 2 classes per week
• Expand technical understanding and teaching ability
• Develop class planning and structure awareness
• Lead larger sections using the teaching formula
On completion, Silver medal and certificate awarded.
🥇 Gold (Minimum Age 15+)
Assist 3 classes per week
• Plan and lead sections of class
• Understand student placement and class management
• Apply the Ealaín teaching formula confidently
On completion, Gold medal and certificate awarded.
Becoming a Junior Instructor
Junior Instructors are role models in the dojo.
Students are expected to:
• Strong effort in their own training
• Be reliable and on time
• Support and encourage others
Future Opportunities
On completion of the programme, students may have the opportunity to:
• Move into assistant instructor roles within the Dojo
• Gain further responsibility within classes
• Continue developing towards senior instructor level and potential employment
