Leona Cassidy

The rising star of Ealaín Karate Dojo!

Leona began training at Ealaín Karate Dojo with Keelan at the age of eight and has shown exceptional dedication and growth throughout her karate journey. Her commitment, attitude, and steady progress have made her a standout student and an inspiring role model for younger members of the dojo.

In September 2024, Leona successfully passed her shodan (1st dan black belt) grading under Scott Langley (7th Dan) at the HDKI World Championships — a major milestone in her martial arts development.

Now an assistant instructor, Leona supports classes across multiple dojos in the Ealaín schedule. Her calm, focused presence and growing technical understanding make her a valuable part of the teaching team. She brings a thoughtful, encouraging approach to every session and is particularly skilled at helping younger students feel confident and supported on the mats.

Leona continues to train and develop and is quickly becoming a key figure in the future of Ealaín Karate Dojo.
